This rug looks absolutely beautiful in my living room. It matches well with dark wood, gray, tans, and even light yellow.
Very happy with this rug. Color and pattern are as expected and soft to the touch. Just put it down and the wrinkles have almost come out. Wanted a low pile rug for the Roomba and this is perfect. Bought the round rug in the same pattern as we have a large living room.
I really do like the color and pattern of the rug- it was very accurately represented in the pictures. This was always meant to be a bit of a temporary rug for us, as we had just gotten two puppies that we were sure would promptly ruin it within 6 months. Right out of the package it had a ton of ripples from being rolled so tightly and left like that for a long time. I reverse-rolled it for 3 days, then tried putting it down in the living room. I stretched it out as flat as it would go and put heavy furniture on the corners, and finally after about 3 months I had a totally flat rug. Wish some company would create a rug relaxer! Next time, I'll try throwing some fabric softener into a spray bottle with some water and see if I can make my own wrinkle release spray! I'm sure I could have tried other things (mild heat on the rug backing, steam, etc) to get the ripples out sooner, but I was honestly just lazy about it!With this rug, you get what you pay for. It's VERY thin- and it's not very soft. I think I paid like $130 for an 8x10 rug- so yes, it's going to be thin and scratchy! If you want something that feels really good under your feet, get a more expensive rug. If you are fine with it being thin and prob not lasting forever like I was, you'll enjoy it! Stains came out pretty easily using Resolve Pet Carpet Spray and a scrub brush.
The rug quality is soft on your feet and cozy as a low pile rug gets. We like that the neutral color works well with different fabrics in the room and ties everything together cohesively.
**Update okay I tried everything to get the creases out, rolled rug backwards, tried heavy objects and heat as suggested wrinkles went away for about 24 hrs then started to come back along with a Buble at on end. I tried to put a felt pad under an noticed the at the end that was bubbled the rug itself is wider so after everything the rug isn't even. It should not take this much effort to put a rug down. Do not purchase this item it's not a great deal just spend a little more for better quality! Like others have stated rugs are not shipped rolled but folded. It's going to be awhile to get the creases out.
So the positives;Great pattern very pretty.AffordableEasy go cleanCONS;I hate the texture. It's pretty scratchy. As others have mentioned, it's been a couple of months and it just won't lie flat. Still has creases and I wish I could return it.Overall I'm displeased.
Nice ring, love the round rug for the space but wish the color were more pronounced!
The pattern is very minimal and the colors are that washed out look.Love it!
Love the color.. more grey than I could see in I photos but good..This rug came folded!! fOLDED! Not rolled. Yes it’s lard but everything we have tried before putting it down and after has resulted still in lumps ever couple feet and down the middle. Who folds carpet?? They do and we trip over the lumps everyday.. can’t get a picture to post…
We got new tile in our entrance. I (temporarily) had a fish-mash of rugs but wanted to order several that all matched and were primarily white and grey. These rugs look great! I'd give them a 5 for "looks" but knocked the rating down to 3 for other issues. A) Non-slip backing is NOT not slip in the slightest. This is a high-traffic entrance and after people walk thru, the rugs move. The biggest one even slips a little but the 4 x 6 one in the middle of the decorative border moves as much as 6 inches! I'm constantly "straightening" it and am in fear of someone stepping on it, slipping and falling. I'm going to purchase a non-slip rubber mesh to under them. B) The other rugs flattened out pretty well after rolling them the opposite way. But, that pesky 4 x 6 rug, for some reason, is resistant to change. I've now got it under a 7 x 10 (heavy) rug in my living room and hope it stops buckling after a few days. If not, I'm returning the 4 x 6 one. C) The odor. It's been 4 days with windows opened and we closed up the house overnight. This morning, even my nose-blind hubby commented on the sour catnip type smell! When windows are open, you only smell it when you walk by. But, this. morning you could smell the rugs even in the living room! We have 20 foot ceilings and a huge open house, so it's annoying that the smell lingers and spreads. In another week or two, if it's STILL an issue, I will be forced to return these pretty rugs. D) The edges curl. Grrrrr. Not every edge, and not real high, but enough that elderly relatives may trip. Again, another issue that I hope resolves itself. E) This is minor and expected, but the colors on all rugs are pretty close and cohesive except that pesky 4 x 6 one. It's a bit darker than the other three. Again a slight variation is acceptable but since it's smack in the middle of the floor design AND I'm having buckling/slipping/scent problems, this rug may go back to Amazon. I'm giving it a week. I'll update my review after I decide what to do. If the scent is persistent, all four rugs might go back! But, they are very pretty and I love the variety of sizes available. I just wish they were heavier and rubber-back with no smell or ripples.
