  If you are contemplating this nuLOOM Gloria Abstract Shag Area Rug, then you should definitely buy this! It is so soft and plush. It brightens my room and adds nice touch of boho. I get so many comments on how cool it looks and I've had some friends say that they want to copy me. I baby this rug now...no shoes and only clean feet. I'm not sure how it would hold up to pet stains or in a high-traffic area. But, for my purposes, it is scrumptious and perfect. I did not need any padding under this. I am happy with this rug and would highly recommend you purchase one.

  The media could not be loaded. It looks beautiful but because the base is thin it wrinkles a lot. I think there is a permanent wrinkle in the middle of the rug. I ordered a rug pad. If it doesn’t solve the problem I need to return this.UPDATE: rug pad works well. So the pad prevent wrinkles . So it will stay.

  After my newly adopted puppy destroyed our living room rug, we decided to get a cheap one till she grows out of it. This nuLoom rug looks good, and is very well-priced ($227 for 9x12). So we went for it.Pros:- Cheap, fluffy and comfy and the dogs seem to like it.- Nice creamy color and design is simple enough.Cons:- Feels cheap, super thin. I mean it arrives folded in 6ths. I have a feeling the high-low pile design is so they dont have to use as much material to make the rug lol even the high pile shag sections feels like you're walking on bare floor.- Been a few days and still smells pretty bad. I'm sure it'll go away eventually but our old $1k rug did not have this problem lolIt is ok for what it is, but definitely replacing the second the dog stops destroying nice things...
