Remember the days of disposable rugs where you had to spot clean as needed and then eventually toss? Washable rugs are the best, and nuLOOM has great options that are durably, easy to care for and have great colors, patterns and sizes for all decor. This is the 2nd rug I’ve purchased in this brand as I wanted a runner to go in an adjacent mud room to match the larger entry rug. This is also the 2nd time I was surprised that the rug is shipped folded up in a box—not rolled like others, but I appreciate this as it’s so much easier to handle and move around. Plus, the washable nature of the rug doesn’t require rolling. The colors are just as lovely as the rug I am matching (I was a bit nervous they might differ), and I now have a washable rug for a high-traffic area. There are some slight fold lines, but these quickly disappear after the rug is laid out and with use. Washing is a breeze in a home washer and dryer. I pull a freshly cleaned rug from the dryer, and it’s like a brand new rug again. This is certainly not a bad thing! Although the nuLOOM rugs are affordable, much less costly than that brand that has the base that you Velcro the top to (quite a pain), you no longer have to actually replace your rugs. I highly recommend these and plan to buy another for my 3-season room.
This rug is perfect, it is very lightweight and washable. I put rug tape to secure to the floor and its very thin and flush, I love how easy it is yo vacum and the design is beautiful.
The colors are as on the screen. It is thin, but that's in the description so no surprise. It's nice and soft. I've washed it once, and it held up fine, I did air dry it. I do like it, but I got one that was a return for much cheaper, not sure if I would pay full price for one.
I ordered 4 different washable rugs and this is the winner. Grateful for the free return prime benefit! I really needed something machine washable because I have a small dog that occasionally likes to mark, and I am always fostering puppies who are ‘learning’ to be house trained. We already had this brand of rug for the hallway runner (different print) which has been washed many times as it’s in a high traffic area. Important to make sure it’s either hang dried or laid flat to dry after washing. I lay it on my front porch which makes it super easy to dry after washing.1st pic is of the new rug once I laid it down. 2nd pic is the virtual tool in amazon to get an idea of how it would look in your space. Have to admit is way better looking in person.3rd pic is of my guilty small dog… after changing the old rug out for this new one I found over a dozen tennis balls under the furniture. He’s happy to have his toy supply increased and now so am I that I have a washable rug!4th pic is of my runner in a different print. Has been washed many times and needs to get washed again.5th pic shows the underside of the rug which is the same on the runner and the living room rug. It does seem to attract the dog hair underneath which doesn’t all come off in the wash…and u can remove it with the Chom Chom roller… but no one actually sees the underside so does it really matter?Btw… not sure if it’s all rugs or just some of them but 1/2 the rug that’s is along the sofa on the left seems to be a slightly darker than the other 1/2 near the wall unit on the right. You can hardly tell unless pointed out. I’m ok with this as it looks good and the entire rug has a faded look anyways. I’ll be ordering a new runner to match this print to replace the existing one in the hallway soon. Might also get one in the kitchen.
I want so bad to love these rugs. I bought 4 different sizes to replace my 4 Ruggable rugs. My Ruggables were a huge pain, always curled up, were so heavy, and never came clean when washing. So since I’ve had both let me break it down.PROS-beautiful rugs! Color and style are as shown. I recommend looking at pictures posted by others for true idea of the look.-quality is great-light weight. My Ruggables were like lugging a dead body around(NOT that I know) these are very easy to handle-the backing is a very nice nonslip backing so no more buying that Ruggable mat and trying to line up your rug on the stupid Velcro mat.-literally laid flat right out of the box. Some slight wrinkles but over all no stiff rug or putting stuff on the corners to keep them down. It’s a roll and go type rug.-NO MORE ROLLED UP EDGES!! Ask any Ruggable owner and their first complaint is the corners rolling up and people tripping. These rugs stay flat.CONS-I have one of the rugs under my dinning table and every time a chair is moved the rug moves with it.(see picture) I am constantly fighting to keep the rug flat so if you are going to have it under a table where there is a lot of movement of feet and chairs you will need to secure it.-the material is a very strange material. While it is soft and lightweight it is like freaking glue when something hits it. My one rug is in my family room and during Christmas morning you can imagine there was a lot of paper pieces, small pieces of cardboard, and so on all over it. I tried to vacuum and of course the rug is so lightweight it sucked up into the beater bar. So I used my other vacuum for my hardwoods and the stuff wouldn’t come up. So I got down and just figured I would hand pick the pieces. Not an option. Everything becomes one with this rug. When you pull something off it you can hear what sounds like a Velcro pulling sound. If you have a dog that sheds you may want to think twice about this style rug.* I HAVE NOT WASHED THEM YET BUT WILL UPDATE AS SOON AS I DO AND THAT COULD BE THE DEAL BREAKER ON THESE RUGS.***UPDATE*** washed my runner I have in this and it washed up beautifully! Has to be washed on cold and no fabric softener and can’t be tumbled dry so keep that in mind for the larger rugs.
The color is wonderful, I'm so pleased with everything about this rug. I can't wait to need to wash it to see if it really works!
I love the look and the light weight of this rug, but it snags super easily. My rug is covered in snags from my cats just walking on it. They're not even scratching at it or trying to sharpen their claws. For some reason, their claws just catch on it. I was thinking of replacing it, but I'm afraid I will have the same problem.
I spent months searching endlessly for the perfect set of rugs for our living room and always came back to this brand. I needed a runner (unsure on dimensions for runner), a rug for our entry way (2x3) and an area rug (6x9). After finding a print I liked I ordered them, finally!! At first I loved them. They were so pretty! They also laid well, the creasing from packaging came out within a few days (aside from one in the 6x9) the print was beautiful, even though the colors were neutral they were vibrant but most importantly, it was washable!! Which is all the rave now, washable area rugs?!? LoL Over time I realized it wasn’t so great after all. The print faded drastically, especially in high traffic areas. We haven’t even washed them yet and they are already fading and falling apartl. Everything and I mean everything sticks to the fabric of these rugs. If you have a pet, I do not recommend. Flocked Christmas tree?? Forget about it. I have to get down on my hands and knees to vacuum and it still doesn’t get it all. It’s also near impossible to vacuum to begin with because the rug gets sucked up off the floor. The trim on the rugs, especially the entryway 2x3 is coming undone. I want to love these rugs sooo bad but they just do not stand the test of time.
I bought this runner for the kitchen in my apartment. Best deal I've made for a rug. I bought it truly because the floor is so cold and good thing, my cat spends so much time laying there and rubbing her back on it. It's cute. And let's talk about the color. I really didn't think I'd really like it but it fit perfectly with the cabinets, color pine. When you love in a apartment you buy what combines to make it yours. So I did and quite happy too.
This is a beautiful rug. I love that it came rolled rather than folded; however, seam at the middle of the roll is severely creased when unrolled. Because the seam is only about 1/2 inch wide, it is very difficult to get it to lay flat. I had to hide it under a piece of furniture. Maybe it will disappear when I wash it.
