  I mean you really can’t beat the price on this thing. I took an iron on the wool setting and ironed out all the wrinkles after letting it sit unwrapped for a bit and it did the trick! I was really worried about having to cut the padding but there was only a little bit I had to trim off on two sides and it was incredibly easy! I set the rug on top of it and had it fit two of the sides perfectly so I only have to trim two sides. The comfort of stepping on it for 1/8 is nice for the space I used it in. I’ll probably go thicker for my 2 year old daughters room though for more comfort. But I’m so happy I went with this brand. The grip works really underneath and I’ve no problems with it moving so far!

  Grips the wooden floor and grips the rug very efficiently. The product feels of good quality. 1/4" thick adds definite cushioning and plushnes.My opinion only: 1/8" would have worked as well if one doesn't need plushes.

  I have tried so many different rug pads in my old house with wood floors and none have come close to being everything as these rug pads! Some pads are super grippy but thin and some are thick but have poor grip. These pads have it all. The rubberized grip side of the pad lies directly against your floor surface and I'm telling you, the rug does not move an inch-whether it is on wood or carpet. The thick, soft, felt side of the pad lays directly under the rug itself adding a nice cushion and height to the rug making it look plush and luxurious. It's the best of both worlds and worth every penny!

  If you have hardwood floors this is the style pad you want, the bottom portion is rubber. Most pads are made out of PVC products, which leave behind checkered marks and scratches on hardwood floor finishes. PVC has many great applications, just not on hardwood floors. Rubber is more costly, however having to refinish a hardwood floor because you used a PVC made pad is really expensive.Most home stores sell solely the PVC style, so I was pleased to locate this on amazon. The pad gives a nice cushion, with a solid no slip hold. Plus no damage, checker marks or scratches on my oak floor. If you have hardwood floors I highly suggest this mat. Yes it will cost more than a PVC style one, but is well worth it. Just clean the area of the floor before installing.

  The perfect thickness for comfort walking barefoot but not thick enough to show under the rug.The only stipulation I have was the one we got, had a weird slip in the middle of it. Almost like 2 pieces were sewed together so I was worried you could see the lump. You can’t see it but you can feel it when you’re barefoot on the rug. The nonslip bottom is great too. Never moves around.Very happy with it other than that! It’s nice Amazon recommended the right size for the rug I added to my cart.

  We bought the large 8x10 to go under our living room rug. It has a great pad to it and definitely doesn't slip, even when my 100lb dog goes running and sliding to it. My only issue is that in order to get the size I wanted, they had to sow 2 different sizes together, which it didn't say when I purchased it but it would have been fine had they known what they were doing. They didn't sow it flush, they created a mountain of a seam that I literally had to cut out in order for it to not raise an inch above the pad.

  I was hesitant to buy this as I've never had the need for rug pads with other rugs in our house, we bought a thin rug for our walk in closet that was always moving, the rug also always looked wrinkly, after adding this the rug looks a lot smoother and it also doesn't move around anymore, it also made the rug a lot softer, I'd definitely recommend this to others!

  I probably should have read more of the reviews before buying this. I got the 6x9’ size and it has a bulky, noticeable seam down the middle. I’ve bought at least a dozen rug pads in my life and never seen anything like this. Who wants a lump in their rug? So strange. Luckily, the seam wasn’t right in middle, so I was able to position the rug pad with the seam on the side it would be less noticeable. I could have returned this, but other than the seam, it’s a decent rug pad at a good price. I like that it isn’t so oversized compared to many brands. My rug is exactly 6x9’ and usually I expect to have to do a lot of awkward trimming, but not with this pad. The fit was perfect.

  I ordered the 6’ x 6’ which I was appreciative to be able to find a decently priced mat in a special size. there is a large seam that can’t be flattened though. luckily for me it can be positioned to not be under foot with my desk layout but if not you’ll definitely notice it

  I have purchased these rug pads before and they were always cut the size I needed although they were smaller than 8x10. This one apparently couldn’t be made in one large cut so they had to seam two together. Unfortunately it creates a bump and shows the seam under my rug. If you are still considering purchasing maybe go with two 5x4 rug pads instead.
