  If you are thinking about getting a natural fiber rug I would suggest starting out with a small throw rug first because these are not for everyone. They are rough at first, leave what I call "dander" underneath them and can be a pain to clean. People writing bad reviews because they aren't familiar with the product. With that being said, I love my rug. I ordered an 8'x8' Natural for under my dining table and it looks great. It softened up nicely just by walking on it, sweeps clean and it's the perfect compliment sitting next to a funky wool rug. It's has some depth but isn't bulky, has some weight but isn't heavy, I was able to handle it myself. It's warmer in color than my photos represent.

  Bought these rugs for the doors to our beach house to stop tracking in sand. Works great and is softer than imagined. Thinking about getting another in a larger size. Our dog loves it too to scratch his back!

  Prior reviews had me ready to send this rug back but I won't need to. 8.6x11.6 size is exactly what I needed. It's jute so it's imperfect but that's the look on those things. I've owned enough of them from high-end stores to 2nd hand ones to know there is no perfect jute rug. If it's perfect, it just ain't jute.It's braided tightly and this thing is a beast to schlep around/under furniture but it looks really good. I like the feel of jute which is like walking on massage beads. It's not a high maintenance rug and very forgiving of a crowded household.I trimmed or knotted up some loose ends and no one can tell the difference. The rug is thick, and came without debris/sand/dirt or smell.I previously owned one just as big I had paid $400 for, so the price on this is pretty fair, IMO.

  I replaced a more expensive carpet of the same style . . . I like the natural sisel look . It came with a definite fold in it that worried me but was laying perfect in less then 24 hours. Color is true , not rough , but not sure it will hold up time will tell , seems some of the weave may be coming undone already only been down a week I live alone and not at all abusive to it . Hopefully its still just acclimating and no problems . It looks nice .

  I love this rug. The off white is a gorgeous color. The quality is excellent. It’s nice to walk on barefoot. I do not have a pad under it and don’t need one. It laid flat after only a short time of unwrapping. No “dirt” underneath that others complained about and no odd smell. Great rug at a reasonable price

  This is my first jute rug, I had such a difficult time choosing from the many options available. With that being said, not much to compare it to. However I was impressed at how it was neatly packaged and wrapped. Not too heavy to lift, the color was as expected, faint smell, I did find some loose leaves, twigs, and 1hair in the rug. I just did a quick vacuum because it would be too much to send it back. It did also release fibers as I was setting it up, didn't bother me too much as I was already expecting it. Having a jute rug does make it harder to move the furniture as well. Overall I think it's good quality, all the descriptions were spot on.

  Wrapped real well. Color is off white which is great for dark wood floors. It is thick and chuncky which to me makes a home chic looking. I used a vac tool with soft bristles to vac. Easy cleaning. Rug did have a smell at first. Few days,smell was gone. Also being new, had loose fibers to vacuum around the floor. It is getting less and not even a week. I ordered 7 6 x 9 6. It is 7' 3 x 9' 2. I believe it will stretch over time. I can tell already. Very happy with this rug and appreciate the hard work given into this product. Price is very good.
