  I got the rug on sale and honestly it was a good buy. But it is not a soft rug or a thick rug. It is beautiful in design aaand matches my home perfectly. Easy to vacuum since it isn't a fluffy soft rug. Seems durable as well.

  The rug itself is very beautiful and soft. I definitely recommend a rug pad. It is not washable unless cleaned by a professional; according to the tag. My dog spilled one of my kids drinks (water) which I did not notice until the rug started to wrinkle! It wrinkled from one side to the other widthwise with the spill occurring in the center. Even after I dried what water was left the wrinkle has still not come out all of the way weeks later. This rug is not ment for messy kids or adults for that matter. Not very stable.

  I absolutely adore this rug, which extends slightly past my couch. It is a little less than 8x10 feet. I went from a white fluffy rug to this one and it changed the look of my living room drastically. I give it 4 stars because when I removed it from the plstic it had the strongest chemical smell imagineable. So strong, I became lightheaded and had to open windows and doors. After about an hour the smell was gone and all is well. I also give it 3 stars because it is so thin and does not feel good when stretching it walking in barefoot. I may look for a cushion to go under it if I can find the exact size.

  I really wish this came in solid black but this was the closest I could find to it that I liked. It is thin and easy to clean. I bought it so my dog doesn’t slip on the hardwood floor so it does it’s job
